Million Dollar Wiki Up For Sale

I just saw this over at Mixed Market Arts that the Million Dollar Wiki is up for sale at Sitepoint.com.

This could be a great deal for someone with the cash to make the buy if the price doesn’t go to high. It’s an auction style sale and as of this writing the bid is up to $10,000.

There is plenty of stats and charts to show how much money Million Dollar Wiki is makingĀ and the seller claims and it looks to be making around $500 per week. Traffic stats are at more than 14,000 uniques per month (not that impressive) and page views are more than 57,000 per month.

The site has grossed over $100,000 since being in business for only 6 months. The concept behind the site is to have your own page on the site for life at a one time cost of only $100. Each page is based on a specific keyword and top keyword pages are getting thousands of page views. It could be worth getting a page for $100. So far 1,079 pages have been sold.

I honestly don’t know much about the site, but I keep running across people mentioning it on their blogs and I believe I’ve seen it being advertised. It looks like a great concept and though it might be something worth taking a look at maybe to buy, that is until the price shot up to $10,000 with 14 more days to go until the end of the auction, it will be interesting to see where the price goes.

The owner and creator Graham Langdon is selling to raise capital forĀ his new project Entrecard.com .

Go take a look at the Million Dollar Wiki Auction.
