December Affiliate Income Report
It time for the December Affiliate income report and I have to say that I’m a little disappointed that the Christmas season didn’t bring in a bit more revenue. However, most of my affiliate income is not in a seasonal retail niche. It is either in the travel area or it is retail that is not usually affected by buying seasons. I did greatly expand a couple of my sites with eBay affiliate stores with Build A Niche Store in the home decor niche and the toys and hobbies niche, but it wasn’t in time to make much of a difference for Christmas of 2007. Next year it should do much better though.
Affiliate earnings for December 2007:
Google Adsense - $1,080.55
Commission Junction - $596.75
Meal Planner Ebook - $85.00
TripAdvisor - $95.63
Auction Ads - $181.78
Azoogle Ads - $13.75
Clickbank - $457.56
Rent.com - $50.00
Total Revenue - $2,561.02
USFreeAds costs - $27.41
Additional Advertising - $26.00
BANS Contest - $100.00
Net Earnings - $2,407.61
My earnings could possibly increase from what’s reported here in the next few days because of reporting delays from CJ. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas there were anywhere from 5 to 8 days with no updates from Commission Junction and then very sporadic ones at that. I would see the total commissions go up $50 or so but couldn’t see where that came from for 2 or 3 days. Last month’s reported CJ earnings turned out to be almost $100 less than actual when I received my affiliate check so we’ll have to wait and see what happens in the next week or so.
I was pretty excited to see a nice payment of $181 from Auction Ads in my PayPal account a few days ago when many bloggers are reporting seeing a significant drop in earnings. It was my biggest check yet from them and I hoping to see it continue to increase.

A slight drop in earnings is definitely normal this time of year though I’m sure that things would have looked a bit differently had you managed to finish the stores you’ve mentioned.

Hey. You’ve made a heckload on adsense but I don’t see any adsense ads on your blog.
Yes, I do fairly well at Adsense, but those little text ads on a blog don’t really do that well. I have several other sites that are excellent for Adsense.
