Well On The Way To A $1000 Week

This just in, I’ve checked commissions from CJ and another source and it looks like the total revenue for Monday comes in at $234.71. That’s nearly 25% of what I need for a $1,000 week. However, today (Tuesday) looks like it’s shaping up to be a rather slow day and actual commissions from CJ for Monday were only $3.36 if you can believe it.

You just never know how things will pan out for any given period of time for your internet marketing efforts. By the time most of you read this post there will still be 5 full days left in the week, so anything can happen. I’ve seen Adsense vary by almost 60% over a 2 day period and earnings from Commission Junction be $100 one day and $3.36 the next day.

The next and final report for earnings this week will be reported sometime on Tuesday the 15th. We’ll just wait and see what happens. Actually I’m not just waiting around to see what happens, there are things in place to generate more traffic and I’ll have to see if they work out.

Stay tuned…

  1. Hi,
I have been following your post for some days now. I am interested in affiliate programmes. I have a clickbank account already. What is your advise on the best way to go about this?

  2. Hey Alan,

Congrats on your success! Hopefully you ended up reaching your goal?

Commission based pay is always hard to handle during the downtime… but keep at it and you’re going to see the best uptime you’ve ever seen! =)

    Good luck!

  3. Great job! I’m using the BloggingPro Theme on my blog too. This site looks great. I’d be curious to know what you think of mine.

Curious…are most of your banner ads on your site CJ?

  4. madWHAM,

Your site looks good in Firefox, but the sidebar in IE 6 is at the bottom of the content. This is a problem I see a lot and it usually has something to to with images. None of my images are ever wider than 470 pixels, that might take care of the problem.

I’m shopping for a custom theme so you may not see BloggingPro much longer.

And none of my ads on Affiliate Confession are from CJ. They’re from Clickbank, PepperjamNetwork and the Microsoft Affiliate program.
