Improved Commenting At Affiliate Confession
Just a short note to let you know that thanks to prompting by John at JTPRATT’s Blogging Mistakes, I’ve installed the Subscribe To Comments plug-in so you will now know when someone responds to a post you’ve commented on if you sign up to be notified by email.
I had planned to do this at some point because I respond to comments fairly regularly, but unless you come back to the blog, you don’t know that I or anyone else may have left a response. Now you can sign up to be notified on a per post basis and don’t worry, you can also unsubscribe from any post anytime you want. I hope this will foster even more communication at Affiliate Confession.
I also tried to install the threaded comments plug-in but because of the way IE 6 parses certain pages, my sidebar drops down to the bottom of the page on single posts. It looked okay in Firefox, but not in IE 6 which I use 90% of the time as do 35% of web users. I think it’s a simple CSS fix, but I messed with it for about 30 minutes and couldn’t get it fixed. If anyone knows how to prevent this, please leave a comment or contact me on my About page because I’d love to have comments thread so everyone can respond to an individual comment.

Thanks for the plug! Now I can subscribe to all your posts I like! I don’t know about the CSS fix, I almost never use IE. Hopefully you get a comment that answers this - and I’ll get an email notification alerting me to it!
I like it.
Looks great.
