My name is Alan LeStourgeon and I’ve been an affiliate marketer for about 3.5 years now and I’ve been encouraged by my friends and my wife Jean to start a personal blog and tell my story. At one time had a personal blog over at Blogspot.com, but every one knows how much Blogger stinks and my blog never got any traffic. Besides, I quit updating it about 9 months ago.
But now it’s time to tell about my journey into network marketing or mlm, affiliate marketing, and dealing with all the issues of working at home for yourself. This blog however is going to be more about how difficult it is to make money as an affiliate marketer and about how all the ebooks and gurus are feeding you a bunch of crap with all their so-called advice. There are very few affiliate marketing gurus that will tell you the whole story, because the whole story is that they are making money off of you selling you bad advice.
As of 10-29-07 I’ve have been able to build my earnings up to approximately $2000 to $2500 per month through my trial and error, mistakes, unknowingly spamming forums and just plain hard work. The affiliate millions you hear so much about are very elusive. They are about as far away as the moon.
I may not be able to tell you how to make the millions that Internet guru’s tells you they make, but I can tell you how to make an honest $2,500 or so per month. And hopefully you can watch my income grown and learn along with me.
