The Winner Of $50 And The Market Leverage Nike Golf Shirt

Market Leverage $50 Rewards CardCongratulations goes out to Tim at Yimto.com for winning the $50 Market Leverage Rewards Card and the XL Nike Golf shirt in the latest blog contest I had going. You are going to love the shirt because it is extremely comfortable and looks nice as well, and I’m sure you’ll have fun spending the $50.

I just sent Tim an email congratulating him on the win and all he has to do now is send me his mailing address and I’ll ship out the Nike Golf shirt and Market Leverage will send out the $50 rewards card.

If you haven’t taken a look at the offers Market Leverage has or experienced their personal service you are missing out on one of the top CPA affiliate networks in business today. I’ll be running one of their health related offers on our healthy diet web site as soon as I get a couple of pages of content written for it. The offer is perfect for that site and because the site is 4 years old and has all of its pages indexed, the offer and new content I’ll be putting up should be indexed and start getting traffic in just a few days. And the offer has a $30 payout! You don’t find a lot of affiliate products that pay quite that well, so head over to Market Leverage and find out what they can do for your affiliate business.

And of course, congratulations again to Tim on the big win.

Big Prize Scored In The Latest Blog Contest

Aaron Wall's SEO TrainingThe Craziest Internet Marketing Contest Ever ended yesterday and the winners were picked in a marathon Excel spreadsheet session by Gyutae Park early this morning. I can’t imagine having to figure out all the points everyone accumulated. The good news however, is that I won a very substantial prize in the contest, a 3 month membership, valued at $300, to Aaron Wall’s SEO Training Program which includes a copy Aaron’s SEO Book, the authority on SEO. I though I would have had a good chance to win an H2 Hummer, but that turned out to be an April Fool’s joke, which I hate to admit that I fell for.

I’ve checked out Aaron’s site before and had it in the back of my mind to spend more time there, but since there’s only so much space in my brain I can rent out at one time, I’ve never really gone beyond a superficial look. Now I have a good excuse to spend some serious time looking into SEO and learning it. This has definitely been a weakness of mine since most of what I’ve learned has been the basic, write good content, meta keywords, meta description, keyword in the title and keyword on the page stuff. Honestly, I think if I read another article that tells you to use these 4 or 5 things and then your site will be SEO’d, I’m going to scream. There’s more to it than that.

I have a couple of vacation related sites that do very well with affiliate programs and Google Adsense with the little traffic they get. If I could get 1,000 to 2,000 people per day to each of these sites, I could probably retire and do nothing but write this blog. I’m sure there’s something I’m missing with these sites and I’d like to find out what it is beside that meta tag thingy. Hopefully, I’ll learn some info through Aaron’s training program. I’ll be blogging about what I learn and the results I get through the training, but only to the extent that I won’t be giving away any proprietary info.

I am so looking forward to getting into this.

Getting into contests on the web has proven to be quite successful lately. I’ve probably won more by entering blog contests in the last 3 or 4 months than I have in the previous years of my life. I’ve always held out for the $10 million prize from Publisher’s Clearinghouse, but I’ll take what I can get. A $300 prize suits me just fine, especially when it has the potential to earn me a lot more than that.

On another note I want to say congratulations to Michael Zebold of Real Estate Loop who won the prize I sponsored in Gyutae’s Winning The Web contest. Michael will be getting two months of free advertising on my sidebar with a 125 x 125 banner. I’ve sent Michael an email and he can contact me here as well to set things up.

Congratulations to all the other winners including those who won some sweet cash prizes of $50 to $650. It might be a good thing to let the contest mania subside in the blogosphere for a while before the next one, since this latest contest will be hard to top, unless you really do have an H2 Hummer to give away or maybe a MacBook Air, Shoemoney?

Last Day For Huge Blog Contest With $15,000 In Prizes

Today is the last day for The Craziest Internet Marketing Contest You’ve Ever Seen and there are tons of great prizes up for grabs. Some big internet companies have gotten in on this one and it is one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. I’ve even sponsored a prize for the contest and will be giving away a 125 x 125 banner for 2 months on my sidebar.

There are more than $15,000 in other prizes including cash, an iPod Touch, lots of advertising, consulting, a conference pass, internet marketing training, memberships, web site subscriptions, blog themes and lots more prizes. The list is nearly endless. The contest has been an incredible boost to Winning The Web and I’ve been watching his rss subscribers go from around 400 to almost 900 in just 3 weeks.

The contest has been going on for three and a half weeks now and is finally coming to a close this evening at 9 PM eastern daylight time when no more entries will be accepted. All the points will then be tallied by Gyutae and prizes will be awarded by random drawing on April 2nd.

Don’t miss out on all the great prizes in this contest.

Latest Blog Contest Offers Over $12,000 In Prizes

 Winning The Web Contest

If you haven’t already heard about it, Winning The Web is running the biggest blog contest I think I’ve seen since I started blogging seriously. Gyutae Park started his contest with around $5,000 in prizes and it has grown to an incredible cache of prizes totaling more than $12,000.

I’m not sure how Gyutae managed to secure all the valuable offerings, but some big name players have donated prizes to the contest such as:

AzoogleAds – $650
PepperJam Network – $500
NeverBlue Ads – $250
Shoemoney- 8GB iPod Touch
Affiliate Summit East – 1 $949 conference pass
Seomoz.org – $249 6 month membership
The Secret Classroom – By Joel Comm valued at $497.

And tons of other prizes are up for grabs including memberships, Internet marketing service, ebooks, affiliate marketing tools, blog themes, web hosting, consulting, and lots of advertising. I’m even getting in on the contest by giving away a 2 month advertising spot on my sidebar valued at $70. Winning cash or any of the other prizes in this contest could help you and your blog get more exposure. If I win any of the cash prizes, it will all be spent on advertising.

It’s pretty amazing to see all the big name people and companies donating prizes to Gyutae’s contest. It really legitimizes these kind of contests as one of the best ways to promote your blog and increase your readership and Winning The Web is the perfect example of this. Since the beginning of the contest couple of weeks ago I’ve watched as his rss subscribers have increased by more than 250 and I now see Gyutae’s blog mentioned on many of the blogs I visit. Many of the top bloggers and internet marketers have rocketed themselves out of obscurity by using contest as a means of promotion and I see Winning The Web getting ready to bust out of the gate and make a run for the top with this one.

If you’d like your chance at winning a cut of some incredible prizes valued at over $12,000 this is one blog contest you don’t want to miss!

The Ultimate Blog Contest, This Is Huge

The University Kid Blog Contest

The University Kid is holding the mother of all blog contests over at his blog and the list of prizes is about as long as the Empire State Building is tall. In total, I believe there are 255 prizes. (I’m not completely sure of that number because of the way prizes are being given out.) The prizes total into the thousands of dollars worth and amongst them are more than 15,000 Entrecard credits being given away to one lucky person. That will buy you a ton of advertising. Affiliate Confession donated 1,000 of those Entrecard credits.

There are so many prizes being given away in Jason’s contest that if you enter, you stand a very good chance of winning something. He is basing the winners on a points system and the more you do according to the rules, the more times you actually get entered into the contest. Some of the prizes include WordPress themes, an SEO ebook, lots of blog advertising besides the Entrecard Credits, blog reviews, consulting, cash prizes and much more.

Jason of The University Kid, TUK, has some high hopes for the results of this humongous contest. At the start of it, TUK had approximately 250 rss readers and is looking to increase that total by 200 additional readers. The number of rss readers you have is one of the best ways to judge the reach and worth of your blog, so this is a top notch goal and one that all bloggers should seek to do, even if they aren’t running a contest.

The rules are pretty simple to enter the contest. Everything is based on a points system and you can earn from 1 to 6 points for leaving comments, subscribing to The University Kid’s rss feed through email, blogging about the contest and more. Jason will pick all the winners on April 15th by entering all email addresses of contest entrants according to how many points they’ve accumulated into the Random.org List Randomizer and then selecting winners one by one.

If you are interested in winning one of the many valuable prizes to help boost your blog traffic or just earn some easy cash, then head over to the contest post at The University Kid and get entered.

Best of luck to everyone.

Alan
PS – Sorry about not getting to the rest of the BANS tutorials, they will resume Monday. My dad had open heart surgery on Thursday and I haven’t had much time on the computer to blog and do research.
